A Little Stranded A Little Lost But It’s definitely where I wanna be. :)Tumblr (3.0; @singaporeaninkorea)http://singaporeaninkorea.tumblr.com/<p>After 24 hours of traveling, I finally arrived at Beijing.</p> <p>16 hour ferry ride went past without much pain. In fact it&#8217;s recommended. I managed to finish a chapter for one of my fan fics. I expect myself to do a lot of that on this trip.</p> <p>Upon arriving in Qingdao, it was a lot of trial and error but finally I made it to the train station. The ticket purchase was a pain. Will write more later on. But suffice to say, 4hrs 20min on the express train, I have arrived in Beijing South. The train was traveling at an average speed of 280km/hr so I traveled like close to 1000km(?). Can you imagine how big China is?</p> <p>Korea to Qingdao: about 5720km</p> <p>Qingdao to Beijing South: about 1000km</p> <p>How many times around Singapore is that? Mind boggling.</p> <p>Not sure if this will get posted on Twitter. But if it does, and people did click on it just to know that I&#8217;m safe, I&#8217;m safe. On my way to the hostel right now.
